BAFTA

Creative

The best films jump off the screen and into our minds. With the help of some of the world's best illustrators, we kept stories going after the credits for BAFTA.

A story about stories

BAFTA needed a campaign for three consecutive awards seasons. To cover that length of time and to unite the creative direction across different films, TV series, formats and channels, we focused on a story about stories. Stories don’t just exist on screen – they continue within our limitless imaginations.

Illustrated narratives

To break out of the confines of the screen, we turned to illustration. With the idea of carrying on the story remaining the uniting thread, we commissioned world-class illustrators to imagine and visualise those stories.

Versatile visuals

La Boca, Malika Favre, and Levente Szabo created bold illustrations. Their boldness grabbed attention, while we were able to adapt the visuals to scale and flex across various formats and contexts.

Prestige preserved

The wordless stories appeared across BAFTA’s flagship events from 2014-2016. With their distinctiveness, care for craft and imagination, they helped reinforce BAFTA’s status as one of the world’s most prestigious arts institutions.
